The Canadian eTA (Electronic Travel Authorization) is a type of electronic visa available for foreign travelers. Since November 2016, it has been a great tool in facilitating the visa application procedure for visitors from all around the world.

Once your Electronic Travel Authorization for Canada is approved, you will receive a notice to your e-mail address. There is no need to print it out - your visa is electronically linked to your passport.
The validity period of a Canadian eTA is 5 years from the issuing date. With a valid visa, you may enter Canada multiple times. However, do not forget that a single visit to the country cannot exceed 6 months.
